He also tells much better jokes than Damien, jokes that are able to make people laugh. When he was 16, he reunited with Alexander in the city of Inkopolis, after he saw Ivory fight him and lose. He decided to fight Alexander in Ivory's place. They fight an intense battle, but ultimately, Markus loses too. Alexander comments that he should stick to training instead of wandering aimlessly. Markus tells him that the only person who makes a smartass comment like that is his cousin, Alexander. Alexander asks him how he knows his name. This surprised Markus. Alexander asks him who he is, and Markus tells him his name. Alexander recognizes his cousin, helps him up, and hugs him, saying that it's been too long since they saw each other. Markus agrees and hugs him back, saying that he missed him. Alexander says that he missed him too. After reuniting with Alexander, he would usually be seen talking with his older brother and younger sister about trivial things. He is trying to start a relationship with 's character, Ivory. He admits that it won't be easy, but he won't give up.
