Markus and Ivory: Thank You

This drawing shows Ivory and Markus (as humans) talking. On Alexander's Starship, when Markus was getting ready for bed, he heard a knock on his door. He answered it, and saw Ivory, standing in the doorway, looking nervous. Markus asked her why she was in front of his room. Ivory told him that she wanted to talk to him about something. Markus let her inside, and asked her what she wanted to talk to him about. She asked him about the sparring match they had when they first met. Markus told her that he remembers it very well. She told him that while the kiss he gave her was unexpected, she started to feel that maybe he is the right person for her. Markus looked at her, feeling a little embarrassed. He then told her that he wanted to show her something. He took off his shirt, revealing scars across his upper body. Ivory was shocked to see that Markus has more scars than just the one on his face. She asked him where he got them. He told her that when he was younger, he would get into fights constantly. He would usually beat his opponents easily, but the more fights he got into, the more scars he would get. As he got older, he became a lot calmer, and he would only fight if he has to. Ivory gently put her hand on Markus' back, and told him she actually thinks he's a lot cooler than most people think. She also told him that she's glad that he rescued her when those Octolings were harassing her. Markus told her that he will not allow anything or anyone to harm her. Ivory smiled and hugged Markus, thanking him for being with her ever since they met. Markus hugged her back, and told her that he's glad to have her as a part of his life.
